Baby Bunnies ;))

Above are my two little baby bunnies.

They were born on monday/tuesday during the last week of september 2010.
I'm not sure about the exact date because I'm not at home at that time.
These babies were both male/buck (if i'm not mistaken) and they were sons to our two big omak and bapak rabbit.
In later post,I'll try to put some aidiladha photos of their parents.

Most of the time,these little bunnies was cared by my youngest brother (good job!).
Its a bit tedious to care for these babies during the first few weeks as we dont have much knowledge about it.Later,petting them becomes so much fun!
The first problem that we faced is that the babies omak didn't want to nurse them..
My youngest brother then went to a nearby petshop and asked the pet shop owner.
The petshop owner suggests my brother to force the babies omak to nurse her babies by handling both of her legs (with the help of another people) and let the babies to be nursed.
Earlier,to do that,my mother helped my brother ( during the time when I'm not at home). Sweet! This goes on until the babies aged 3 weeks.
When they started to developed their teeths,their omak can no longer nurse them as their teeths hurts the mother.


Then, after doing some blog research (cewahhh),we found that baby bunnies can be given with kitten replacement milk and this is essential until the baby age 6weeks.
We then resort that option and nursed them using syringe.

Mit Mit

Alhamdulillah,it was an effective way of feeding these babies.
Now they are aged more than 6 weeks already.I think,they are 8 weeks now!
During the last weekend,we started to give them plain water.
Mit Mit adjust well with that, while Cit Cit (the black one), took some times to drink plain water.
Maybe he felt nausea gitu..

Ooopss..I forgot,actually,there are three babies.
One of them died at the aged of 3 weeks.It has a grey with some black patches fur.
This little baby was skinny compared to its siblings (my brother's favourite baby).
