Spontaneous

Yesterday, after lunch plus doing some`networking' jobs, ( to strengthen silaturrahim gitu!)
which is at about 2.++pm.
I then decided to resume studying. As I did so,my eyes felt heavy and heavier.
Ok!That's it,lets take a short nap,I said to myself.
As I was about to lay my body in the bed, suddenly,my phone started to ring.
(wawah very dramatic kan..)
My family wanted to go to Jeram (sumwhere located near to the north of Selangor I guess) to eat seafood.
They decided to pick me at Vista on the evening.
(Which approximately at 5.++pm)
The journey to the seafood place was joined by 5 of my family members. And that includes me.

At the end of the day,
We end up eating at Malacca.
At a restaurant nearby the restaurant where I once ate seafood with my classmates.

The dishes.
1.Siakap 3 rasa
2.Kerang rebus
3.Kerang masak sambal
4.Sotong goreng tepung Kepsi.(Kepsi=added by me)
5.Tomyam
6.Ikan Pari bakar.
7.Kangkung masak belacan

All in all,I never expect that I'll go to Malacca yesterday.
And ALHAMDULILLAH..
we enjoyed it.

The title spontaneous was actually inspired by Lolly as she said, she likes spontaneous activity.

Idol Gives Back

Now,my uni is having a week of christmas break.
Well a break is a break, while there are two upcoming tests next week.
Speaking about studies,I remembered myself watching last season American Idol gives back show on 8TV last week.
Never thought that such show could teach me to be more GRATEFUL.

I should appreciate CHANCES OF GETTING EDUCATION that I have.
-Idol gives back show how children in sumwhere (I forgot!) learn at a school that is too far comfortable than what I have when I was in school.
The women there was sold by `brokers' as prostitutes while they actually was taken from the village around there.

Ya ALLAH,please grant us the pleasures of learning,
raise our spirit to learn YOUR knowledge

Boarding school songs list..

Like Joyah Lolly said, things keep tingling on her mind and she blogged about it!
well recently, my mind keep on thinking about how my songs preferences had change during the past 10 years.
Let's look at 10 years back,
I was in a boarding school, and for sure, the most appreciated entertainment at that time would be listening to the radio. This is due to the fact that, television viewings were only limited during the weekend and also when there are special sports matches!
Watching tv that was super controlled by the seniors, ALSO made me rarely turned to watch tv.
so,most of of the time,I will used my mini radio (rm 10,bought from pasar malam) to get entertained..hoyeahhh!

Things made worse as my hostel's location were situated within an area that have many hills.(actually, I almost put mountains, but, later I have a check with DBP dictionary, and it suggests hills)
Therefore, the only radio channel that we got was the one with not-so-updated songs.(Thanks ALLAH,we still have it to depends on).As far as I remember, those songs are either request by the caller or by listeners who wrote letter to the radio channel.

Lists of songs that I listened to during my 2-boarding school years:
1.Hadirlah Mustika (Spin) and other spin's songs

2.Kesetiaan (Siti Sarah) my fav till now.I would say this song is evergreen.
MEMORY; One of my friend secretly bought URTV;which is prohibited in any hostels I supposed.and we are so excited to have the kesetiaan lyric in the magazine.
I memang feelin siti sarah abes..kat buaian, and so on..

3.Westlife songs-especially uptown girl
Suddenly remember the time when one of my friend refused to share her lyrics book because she got the lyric of the "updated"westlife song
- it is sumthin usual for a student at my school to have a lyrics book.It looks like a log book for extracurricular activities.

Then,as I became more otai,in parallel with the Linkin Park revolution,
I then prefer slow rock, rock, and alternative songs.
1.Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood,19-2000
2.Linkin Park - Paranoid,In the end,Crawling
3.Coldplay-Yellow; found the lyric from the Galaxy magazine at that time
4.Limp Bizkit-Rollin2
My cassete which is a compilation of most of the above songs was `seized' by the hostel's prefects during a `raid' for prohibited things.

After,I left the boarding school and continue my studies at a daily school,I then switched from a radio/song listener to a tv watcher.
at this age,my songs preferences would be more on ballads or `machine voice songs'.

Beauty?

Yesterday,I watched Oprah show together with my sisters.
Interestingly,Oprah was discussing about how people (in particular;women) around the world perceived beauty.
1.Brazil = the women there, spent almost half of their earnings for cosmetics including cosmetic surgery.
They even have small2 shops like saloon providing so called"physical-improvement" services.
These shops are targetting small-income women as they can provide services at a cheaper price.

2.Iran= this is a bit shocking to me. The women there like to do "nose-job"!
They are even proud of having plasters on their nose so as to show people that they've did a nose-job.
Iranian women who talked on the phone with Oprah said that,
Her professor wore plasters on her nose for 2 years.Plasters on the nose also signify status.

3.Mauritania = this is so interesting!
The Men there like fat women! One of the man even said that,he won't trade a fat women with a thin women.
(One bad practice is that, they force feed young girls who are thin with camel's milk and whatnots grains as to ensure that the girl will grow fat)
However, the men need to be thin.Or else, they have to lose their weight.
Not only that, widow are hotter than anak dara ye!

Whatever it is people's perceptions on beauty is so unlimited!

ALLAH have promised to those who obey HIM and do good deeds for HIS sake will be granted with heavens.

The Omak and Bapak Rabbit

Finally,my brother (Thank you!) managed to email me the laki bini photos of the baby bunnies parents during the last aidiladha.

Enjoy!

the white one is the Omak while the bapak is the black-brown one.
Now,they aged 9months.
We bought them when they were 2months old.
As they grew older, they become more `blur' I supposed.
Look at them, they being nice to stay on the sofa without making any movement.
Actually,we bought these two rabbits because we were told that they are dwarf rabbits.
However,as time goes by,they grew bigger n bigger!
dah macam stok arnab pedaging dah..

Mohawkkkk style! hoyeahhhhh..
(kakak n adik aku punye keje!)

TRUE PUNK!

Baby Bunnies ;))

Above are my two little baby bunnies.

They were born on monday/tuesday during the last week of september 2010.
I'm not sure about the exact date because I'm not at home at that time.
These babies were both male/buck (if i'm not mistaken) and they were sons to our two big omak and bapak rabbit.
In later post,I'll try to put some aidiladha photos of their parents.
(laki bini photos gitu!)

Most of the time, these little bunnies was cared by my youngest brother (good job!).
Its a bit tedious to care for these babies during the first few weeks as we dont have much knowledge about it.Later, petting them becomes so much fun!
The first problem that we faced is that the babies omak didn't want to nurse them..
My youngest brother then went to a nearby petshop and asked the pet shop owner.
The petshop owner suggests my brother to force the babies omak to nurse her babies by handling both of her legs (with the help of another people) and let the babies to be nursed.
Earlier,to do that,my mother helped my brother ( during the time when I'm not at home). Sweet! This goes on until the babies aged 3 weeks.
When they started to developed their teeths, their omak can no longer nurse them as their teeths hurts the mother.

Then, after doing some blog research (cewahhh),we found that baby bunnies can be given with kitten replacement milk and this is essential until the baby age 6weeks.
We then resort that option and nursed them using syringe.

Mit Mit

Alhamdulillah,it was an effective way of feeding these babies.
Now they are aged more than 6 weeks already.I think, they are 8 weeks now!
During the last weekend,we started to give them plain water.
Mit Mit adjust well with that, while Cit Cit (the black one), took some times to drink plain water.
Maybe he felt nausea gitu..

Ooopss..I forgot,actually,there are three babies.
One of them died at the aged of 3 weeks. It has a grey with some black patches fur.
This little baby was skinny compared to its siblings (my brother's favourite baby).

Wassalam.

New Recipe On The Blog!

First and foremost,I'd rather say that I had a busy weekend recently.
Though it is,I'm happy!Life is to be contented rite!
Here,I'd like to share with you guys, a recipe of a PIZZAS MADE BY WHITE BREAD!
the idea came from my bestfriend, Aumeenazirah, who currently struggling with her final year project in Food Management Course at UITM.All da very best my dear!

Step 1,
Make sure that you have enough slices of white bread! 6-10slices is okay.
I remembered that, the time when I did this recipe, the bread are almost expired.

checked :)

Step 2,
Cut the bread slices into small squares or whatever. The best way to do this is to use scissors.

At the end, these bread should be heated in the oven until it turns light brown and look crispy.

The colour will be similar to the toasted bread.

checked :)

Step 3,
Earlier, when you open your fridge, check out on something meaty like sausages that can be put onto the pizza.
In my case,I used the "night before" leftover satays..
(suddenly remembered sausages bought by Tikah during my stay in Oz,they are delicious!)

OOOppsss..The compacted rice is not in the recipe list.

Chopped into small pieces!

Step 4,
Prepare enough tomato puree and some diced bombay onions.
Then mixed the tomato puree with the onions and add enough salts.

Not to forget,I mixed the satay pieces with some of the satay's gravy (kuah kacang gitu)

We also need 4 eggs for each of the pizza as to bind the bread pieces.

Step 5,
Pour eggs onto the baked bread.Make sure all parts of the pizza have been covered with egg (enough for bread pieces to `glue' together).Same goes to the the tomato puree and onions mixed.
Put the satay onto the pizza.

`Sent' them to the oven.
Baked for like 20-30 minutes. It depends.

Finally, before we turned off the fire, sprinkle some grated cheddar or mozarella cheese onto the pizza.

Tadaaa!
These are the end-products,

Oh My Gucci! (my brother taught me this new "urban kids" language)
Terliur pula tengah2 puase nih! (terlopas cakap bm) tak tau omputeh nak cakap macammana.
